Install Date & Change in Work Activity:
Our customer has decided to change the hydraulic fluid to a
biodegradable fluid, so that a oil spill does not create a clean-up
hazard. I think this was a good idea. Our customer will purchase the
hydraulic fluid direct from Mobil, and I provided him a quote to drain
the actuators and clean the old oil of the manifolds and case drains.
My quote was for two men working one week, to do the clean-up, filter
changes, and flushing oil through the actuators.
Therefore we have a new work schedule:
Week of April 2(5 days): Two men to drain the oil out of the actuators,
and clean up the system for the new oil. We will be paid for this time
as an additional contract. It will take a week. We have 18 actuators.
Customer will supply a fork lift & operator for moving and lifting.
April 9(Easter week) I don't plan on anyone being at the customer's
site.
April 16 through 27. Two week trip to do the work that we had planned to
do before. Install hardline, install actuators, start-up diesel,
install air coolers for pump.
This trip will overlap with the MTS electrical folks.
Question: Will this change the names of the people who were planning to
go?
Let me know if we have the staff to support these weeks. Tom Kaufman
